People waiting for a bus soon will have company. Surveillance cameras will be installed this month at the Riverbank Oakdale Transit Authority bus stops in town, and the cameras will be monitored by police.

With the new year came new surveillance of Columbia's Main Street. At first the 20 cameras were supposed to be temporary but now Columbia Police and the city want them to remain permanently.
